I know. This is a long overdue post but I want to document it in my Summer Adventures in the Philippines page, so here it goes. Remember our birthday trip in October of last year? That was in Boracay and it was our first time together there. People were not joking when they said Boracay is an island paradise. It really is one. The powdery sand, the beautiful beach, the awesome food, the nice hotels and the festive spirit of the people day and night make Boracay an ideal respite from the hustles and bustles of the city. Its share of trash and dirty acts, on the other hand, makes it as real and imperfect as you and me. Our four days and three nights stay there was as enjoyable and memorable as it could possibly get. To be honest, I can’t wait to go back.
