Bohol Bee Farm (Review, Photos, Guide to Travelers)

On our recent trip to Bohol to accomplish an important family task, we paid a quick visit to Bohol Bee Farm in Dauis, Panglao Island, Bohol. It is a sprawling recreational complex where you could experience countryside living at its finest. It is famous among tourists for its bee products, enchanting surroundings and the scrumptious organic food served in its in-house restaurant. (Organic farming is an agricultural practice being promoted aggressively across Bohol province.)

Cool Jump Shots Photo Service at Chocolate Hills Park

During our recent Bohol vacation, we had a fun-filled, whole day tour of the province. One of the tourist spots we visit is the famous Chocolate Hills Park where you can get a magnificent view of the wondrous Chocolate Hills. Not much has changed in the place since my previous visit in 2007. The park is still maintained by the local government and there are still those souvenir shops that sell anything from tarsier-designed pouches to printed t-shirts. But what caught my fancy while on top of the viewing deck was the jump shot photo service located in the corner.

We went to Mag-aso Falls on a Wednesday morning, during my recent Bohol vacation. We rode in a motorcycle and passed through rough roads but it was worth it.  Mag-aso Falls was wondrous and cool.

Cheap Bohol Accomodation Near Tagbilaran Airport: Marcelina’s Guest House

During my short vacation in Bohol, I noticed a decent guest house located right smack on the corner of the road in front of Tagbilaran Airport. It’s called Marcelina’s. The address on the banner in front of the building reads 53 Lamdagan St., Tagbilaran City. At P600 only per night for a room good for two persons, anyone can tell it is a steal. Aside from being near the airport, you’re literally in the heart of Bohol where most tourist destinations (e.g. Panglao Island, Hinagdanan Cave, Bohol Bee Farm, etc.) are accessible from. If you’re on the adventurous side and is trying to keep your finances in check while traveling, this travel accommodation can just be your holy grail.
